Crafts.la is a new service where artisans and crafters can sell their arts and crafts. Crafts.la offers a wide variety of services catered to both the seller and the buyer.
Services Offered:
Sell Art, Crafts and/or Supplies: Sellers can sell their artwork, handcrafted items and arts & crafts related supplies, books and magazines. Sellers can sell their items using a standard or dutch auction format where bidders place bids on their items, or at a fixed price using the buy out option. Sellers can also list their items with both the auction and buy out options to help increase their items selling price.
There are NO listing fees for sellers! Sellers can list basic auctions with no frills, absolutely free of charge. There are small fees for extras like bold and highlighted titles in the search results, custom start time and featured items. All current fees are listed on the website at Crafts.la.
Auto-Relist Option: We understand how busy life can get. When auctions end, sometimes it’s just too much hassle to relist the item offered for sale. Our service provides the auto relist option that sellers can select when posting their listings. Sellers can choose to have their item relist until sold, or relist for up to 99 times for those items they have in bulk or can make quickly (like handmade soaps, bath sachets, supplies etc.).
Relisted items get an automatic discount on any fees associated with the listing if the item uses any of the paid features. Basic auctions will continue to relist completely free of charge until the seller chooses to cancel the auction.
Seller Stores: We offer seller stores for a flat low monthly fee. There are no listing fees for items placed in seller stores, not even for extras like bold and highlighted titles. To assist small sellers we also offer a free store to help them get started selling their arts & crafts online.
Item and Services Swap: We also offer sellers a swap option where they can list items that they would like to swap with buyers for items that they may need. To enjoy the swap feature, sellers simply select this option when placing their listings and their item then can be purchased or swapped at the seller’s discretion.
Wanted Ads: If you are looking for something in particular then post a want ad. Want ads are completely free of charge. You can post want ads for swap items, items for sale or even services if you’re looking for a crafter to make something that you’re in need of or that you desire.
Free URL: All members get a short, easy to remember URL that they can use to promote their auctions. URLs are setup within 24 hours of registration and are sub-URLs of the Crafts.la domain. Members URLs format are Username.Crafts.la where Username is replaced by the members crafts.la member ID. Sellers can also use this URL to promote their arts & crafts locally with flyers and business card marketing.
